Terms of Service

    Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using TradeFuel. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use TradeFuel.
  

1. About TradeFuel

TradeFuel LLC ("TradeFuel," "we," "us," or "our") operates an online lead generation platform at tradefuel.co that connects homeowners seeking home services with licensed local contractors. TradeFuel is headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan.

TradeFuel is a lead generation and matching service only. We do not perform home services, employ contractors, or guarantee the quality of any work performed by contractors matched through our platform.

2. Homeowner Terms

By submitting a service request through TradeFuel, you agree to the following:

You are at least 18 years of age
The information you provide is accurate and truthful
You consent to be contacted by TradeFuel and matched contractors via phone, SMS, and email
You understand TradeFuel is a matching service — we do not guarantee contractor availability or response times
You are responsible for verifying contractor licenses, insurance, and qualifications before hiring
Any contract for services is solely between you and the contractor — TradeFuel is not a party to that agreement
TradeFuel is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work performed

Free estimates are not guaranteed. Response times listed on our website are averages based on typical contractor response and are not contractual commitments.

3. Contractor Terms

By creating a contractor account and purchasing leads or a subscription, you agree to:

Maintain all required licenses, permits, and insurance for your trade and service area
Contact leads promptly — ideally within 5 minutes of receipt
Treat all homeowners professionally and honestly
Not resell, redistribute, or share leads with third parties
Not contact homeowners for purposes unrelated to the service requested
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
Provide accurate information about your business, qualifications, and service area

Lead Refund Policy: Leads are non-refundable once delivered. TradeFuel does not guarantee that homeowners will respond, hire, or move forward with any contractor. Lead credits may be issued at TradeFuel's sole discretion for verified invalid leads (wrong number, no service needed, duplicate).

Subscription Policy: Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on the same day each month. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial months.

4. Payments & Billing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. TradeFuel does not store credit card information. By providing payment information you authorize TradeFuel to charge your payment method for the selected plan.

Pay-Per-Lead: Charged per lead delivered to your account
Monthly Subscription: $499 charged monthly, auto-renews
Credit Packs: One-time purchase, credits never expire

If a payment fails, your account will be paused until payment is resolved. TradeFuel reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with outstanding balances.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use TradeFuel for any unlawful purpose
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Attempt to circumvent TradeFuel's systems or billing
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Use automated systems to scrape or extract data from TradeFuel
Impersonate TradeFuel or any other person or entity
Interfere with the proper operation of the platform

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

TradeFuel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
Leads will result in completed jobs or revenue
Contractors are licensed, insured, or qualified
Any specific number of leads will be delivered

TradeFuel is a technology platform. We are not a contractor, general contractor, or home services company. We do not supervise, direct, or control any work performed by contractors.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeFuel's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid TradeFuel in the 3 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.

TradeFuel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TradeFuel, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or any services you provide or receive through TradeFuel.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
